I'm Pramit Majumder, a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer and founder of Design to Engineer Academy. I help GCSE and A-Level Design & Technology students move beyond basic coursework and develop stronger design thinking, CAD confidence, practical skills and examiner-focused NEA portfolios.

How the Academy is built.

02 / SCHEME OF WORK
OUR FOUNDATION

Built by an experienced Mechanical Engineering Lecturer, assessor and external examiner working with multiple awarding bodies and end-point assessment organisations. The Academy is an online education platform created with a passion for strengthening engineering knowledge and design skills among GCSE and A-level Design & Technology students across the UK.

A-level students often lose marks through weak technical knowledge, generic answers and limited product application. Our structured programme strengthens engineering understanding, exam technique and justified design decisions to support higher grades.

Every student joins with a different project, grade target and level of confidence. We start from their actual coursework, not from a generic template.

Students learn by improving real portfolio pages, CAD work, design decisions, prototypes and evaluation evidence during the programme.

Every activity is linked to what improves NEA quality: clearer research links, measurable specifications, justified development, testing and evaluation.
